Hagar& Phillips Attorneys at Law Welcomes Hope Ford as Newest Attorney and Expands DUI and Criminal Defense Practice Areas
Expanded Legal Capabilities for Lebanon and Surrounding Middle Tennessee Counties

Lebanon, Tenn. (Dec. 1, 2025) – Hagar & Phillips, Attorneys at Law, PLLC, is pleased to announce that Hope Ford has officially joined the firm as an attorney following her admission to the Tennessee Bar. Ford’s transition to attorney marks a significant expansion for the firm, which will now bolster its legal services in the areas of criminal defense and DUI representation for clients in Wilson County and surrounding areas.

Ford is a familiar face to the Hagar & Phillips team and its clients. She began her career with the firm five years ago as an administrative assistant. Through her dedication and work ethic, she quickly advanced to the role of Law Clerk, working closely with the firm's partners while pursuing her legal education. She successfully passed the Bar Exam in July and was recently sworn in, completing her journey from staff member to licensed attorney.

In her new capacity, Ford will primarily focus on defending individuals accused of crimes. Her addition to the legal team allows Hagar& Phillips to significantly expand their practice areas to include dedicated DUI defense and broader criminal defense services. This expansion ensures that the firm can meet the growing demand for representation in these critical areas of criminal law.

“We have had the privilege of watching Hope grow from an administrative assistant into a formidable legal professional over the last five years,” stated Eric Phillips, Senior Attorney and Law Partner. “Her dedication to our firm and her determination to succeed are truly commendable. With Hope focusing on criminal defense and DUI cases, we are thrilled to expand our capabilities and provide even stronger advocacy for our community.”

Hagar & Phillips is located in a historical home in the city of Lebanon, Tennessee. For more information about Hagar & Phillips, Attorneys at Law, PLLC, please visit www.hplawtn.com.
